GREEN FEES & BUGGY PRICES

Elfordleigh is a mature parkland course maintained to a high standard. The new 1st green has improved the opening hole, offering interesting pin positions. From here you take on the newer holes (2nd - 10th) ranging from inviting par 3s to the challenge of the double dogleg Par 5 4th. Be sure to take a moment on the 7th fairway and take in the spectacular view back to the Hotel with the beauty of Dartmoor beyond. On re-entering the original holes the first challenge is the par 3 11th, this hole is not for the faint-hearted measuring 191 yards from the back tees, with out of bounds stretching down the right of the hole and two bunkers to catch errant shots. A par 4 here is more than acceptable. Holes number 13 and 14 are par 5s and can offer birdies, but beware in being too greedy as the tree-lined fairways place an onus on accuracy from the tee and for the second shot. The closing holes offer a stern test and also demand accuracy from the tee with dog legs and elevation ensuring that you have to be playing well to make a good score.
